Middleton Grange’s school library has been brought to life after WPS Architecture’s invigorating refurbishment.
Featurecraft’s MDF/Veneer Battens have been designed and installed on an angle to separate spaces and provide privacy for library users. The black brackets for this screen system have been specifically shaped to accommodate the racked ceiling, showcasing the custom nature of the product and how the battens were tailor-made to fit the space.
The wooden cross at the apex of the room was designed and executed by our talented designers and craftsmen. The cross is embedded into matching American Red Oak screen battens, achieving both cohesion and an eye-catching feature.
This library refurbishment was shortlisted for the 2024 Canterbury Architecture Awards – Education sector. An impressive transformation of space that fosters positive learning outcomes for students.
